Work Continues in All Clinics of the Faculty of Dentistry, Tanta University

 

        Prof. Abeer Darrag, acting dean of Tanta Faculty of Dentistry, announces that work continues in all clinics of the Faculty of Dentistry and she asserts that the Faculty is keen on providing treatment services and receiving all patients attending the clinics and offering them suitable services.

        Prof. Abeer Darrag, acting dean of Tanta Faculty of Dentistry, emphasized that what spread throughout the pages of social media about suspending the work at Endodontic treatment clinics is incorrect, asserting that work has continued today at Endodontic Department and that the Faculty receives all patients and follows all precautionary measures of infection control in dealing with patients at all the clinics.

      Prof. Darrag also announced that a meeting has been held today, Tuesday, February 4, 2020 with all the nursing staff and in the presence of Prof. Mohammed Ma’moun El-Sheikh, Faculty vice-dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Ahmed El-Disouky, Manager of Infection Control Unit at the faculty. The meeting introduces information about Coronavirus and how to be protected against it, in addition to the precautionary measures the faculty takes in dealing with all the attending patients.

     Prof. Mohammed Ma’moun El-Sheikh added that the faculty is committed to its duty of serving the community and receiving all patients, making sure that the clinics are not crowded through putting mechanisms for dealing with patients according to the international infection control regulations followed by the faculty. He also announced the intensification of follow-up at Faculty clinics in addition to holding awareness campaigns to help the interns working in faculty clinics deal with patients.
