International Students

Application Requirements:
1. The applicant is not Egyptian
2. To be a freshman
3. Students who have exceeded the period of two years have the right to apply again
4. Application is via the official e-site of Study in Egypt platform
5. Application is valid only through Study in Egypt platform
6. The student have to submit all the required documents directly after the announcement in a period that does not exceed one month
Application Steps:
1. Apply via Study in Egypt platform on the following link:
https://admission.study-in-egypt.gov.eg
2. Create an account on the platform with the full name the same as the one in the passport. Activate your account via the email sent to you
3. Click on applying to postgraduate studies request
4. Fill in the required data
5. Fill in the scientific degree which you want to be enrolled in
6. Upload the required documents: (a photocopy of a valid passport-a photocopy of the academic qualification-a photocopy of the sheet of marks-an equivalence certificate issued from the Supreme Council of Universities)
7. The student has to pay EGPs. 2000 and can select the way of payment (via the platform or bank deposit). After finishing the previous steps, print the initial nomination sheet
8. Upload the receipt on the site and type the reference number in letters and numbers
Steps of Checking the Documents
1. Checking documents and data of the student to make sure of its validity by the Central Administration for Foreign Student Affairs.
2. In case of approval, the paper is sent to the university’s page and a decision is taken to accept or reject, the reason for the rejection is clarified.
3. The request is sent to the Head of the Central Administration for Foreign Student Affairs to take a decision of acceptance or rejection.
4. In case of acceptance, the student will receive a message of initial acceptance; accordingly, the original documents are submitted to the Central Administration for International Student Affairs (7 Dr. Ibrahim Abunnaga St. - Embassies District - Nasr City - Cairo). The universities receive the student’s file from the administration via the express mail. The file must include the following documents:
• The original certificate of the last qualification
• The original equivalence certificate (in case of getting the qualification from a foreign country)
• The original receipt of payment for submission in case of manual payment
• A photocopy of the passport
• The original letter of the embassy in case of scholarship

5. After submitting the file, the student receives a letter of initial approval ratified by Head of the Central Administration of Foreign Student Affairs
