The Department of Conservative Dentistry has 3 Main Aims that Adjust to the Faculty’s Mission:

اThe Educational Aim:

Providing comprehensive information that depend on contemporary evidences in the fields that are related to dental restoration, ways of preserving them and prevention of tooth decay.

اThe Research Aim:

Contributing in the promotion of sciences of dental restoration through conducting important and innovative research projects of high quality, publishing the results of these researches through the publication in the internationally judged magazines of high impact factor and through presenting the researches in the international and local conferences and meetings.

اThe Service Aim: The Department participates in the management and development of the Faculty to provide the patients with health care of high quality and to provide the practitioners of Dentistry regionally and nationally with the educational experience through continuous educational medical programs.

اCommunity Service Role:

The Department of Conservative Dentistry provides the service of dental restoration for great number of the patients visiting the Department clinic. This is during the practical lectures of the third-year and the fourth-year students, the intern dentists and the post-graduate students.
