Within the framework of the strategic vision of Tanta University towards building the human and preparing an awareness generation able to lead the future, Faculty of Dentistry organized the 5th awareness symposium, “Raise Your Child Right”. It was held under supervision of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, Tanta University President, and Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; under supervision of Prof. Faten Abu Taleb, Faulty Dean, and Prof. Sherin Abdel Mawla, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs. The symposium was organized by Mr. Mohammed Al-Nahhass, Manager of Youth Welfare Department, and Mrs. Heba Mady, Social Activity Official.
The symposium was delivered by Prof. Randa Al-Deeb, Professor of Educational Foundations and Founder of the Initiative. She presented a comprehensive vision for promoting positive parenting within Egyptian society. During her presentation, she emphasized that the initiative represents a cornerstone for discovering and developing young people’s talents. She explained that its primary goal is to empower families to make informed educational decisions that ensure the well-being of future generations and support their psychological balance.
The discussion focused on the pivotal role of university youth in building cohesive families, considering them the backbone of the future and the driving force behind social development. The symposium also addressed ways to invest in young people’s potential and highlight their skills in order to raise an aware generation that understands the value of family and social responsibility.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the hall witnessed an open discussion that reflected the enthusiasm of male and female students and their deep understanding of the issues raised. All questions related to the foundations of proper parenting were answered.
