The “Geniuses” team representing Faculty of Dentistry at Tanta University has secured a place in the third and final stage of the second season of the “Geniuses of Tanta University Faculties” competition.
   The second-stage contests were held on Wednesday, August 27th, 2026, at the Center for Innovators and Talents at Faculty of Computer and Information, Siberbay Campus.
   The competition was held under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and leadership of Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs. It was also held under supervision of Prof. Yasser Al-Makaky, Acting Faculty Dean, and Prof. Sherin Abdul Mawla, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs.
   The event was under the general supervision of Prof. Magdy Wakwak, General Coordinator of Student Activities, and Dr. Mohammed Al-Qasir, Director General of the General Administration for Student Welfare.
   Faculty of Dentistry team delivered a strong performance during the second stage, earning qualification for the final stage of the competition. The team is composed of six students: Hamdy Mohammed Hamdy, Mohammed Ra’fat Sa’d Ali Al-Sayyed Allam, Abdul Hamid Ra’fat Sa’d Abdul Badea, Omar Ayman Al-Fares, Hassan Mohammed Omar, and Ahmed Ehab Al-Burhamy.

   The competition is part of the university efforts to promote student activities and develop students’ knowledge, general cultural awareness, and intellectual skills. It also aims to foster fair competition and teamwork while providing students with an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities in a competitive environment inspired by the popular TV program, “Geniuses.”
