Under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of Tanta University, and Prof. Mahmoud Salim, along with Prof. Faten Abu Taleb and Prof. Yasser Al-Makaky, Faculty of Dentistry organized a series of events to mark World Oral Health Day. The celebration was coordinated by Dr. Aya Al-Hamzawy and held over two days as part of the initiatives of Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Tanta University.
Day One:  March 29th, 2026
   In collaboration with the General Administration of Dentistry at the Directorate of Health Affairs in Tanta, an awareness visit was organized to Tanta General Hospital in Sibirbay. The initiative involved academic staff, assistant staff, and intern dentists. During the visit, a large number of patients received oral health education, along with the distribution of toothpaste, toothbrushes, brochures on maintaining oral hygiene, and illustrated educational leaflets.
Day Two: March 30th, 2026
   Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organized a scientific day at the conference hall of the faculty. The program included a series of lectures, with Dr. Mohammed Anwar, lecturer in Endodontics Department, and Dr. Shaimaa Al-Sandouby, lecturer in the Pediatric Dentistry Department. Additionally, oral care products, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, and mouthwash, were distributed to patients visiting the faculty clinics and attendees present at the faculty.
