Under patronage of Prof. Faten Abu Taleb, Dean of faculty of Dentistry; and Prof. Yasser Al-Makaky, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and as a part of the participation in the events and activities of Delta Region Alliance, Community Service and Environmental Development Department organized a workshop under the title, “Your Clinic Shapes Your Future”. During the workshop, employment programs for young dental interns and entrepreneurship opportunities in the field of dentistry were discussed in cooperation with a number of dental equipment and supplies companies. Several job opportunities within these companies, as well as training and entrepreneurship opportunities, were made available to participants.
   A qualifying scientific lecture was presented by Prof. Ahmed Al-Shariff, Assistant Lecturer at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department, under the title, “Pharmacological Solutions for Most Common Complications of Dental Clinic”. It was attended by a number of academic staff, assistant staff, and 105 intern dentists.
