Under patronage of Prof. Faten Abu Taleb, Dean of Faculty of Dentistry; and Prof. Yasser Al-Makaky, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, Community Service and Environmental Development Department organized the events of the activation courses for intern dentists on January 21th and 21th, 2026.
The first day was lectured by:
•    Dr. Gamal Ahmed Abu Shaheyya, Lecturer at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department. Title of the lecture: First Aid in Dental Practice
•    Prof. Al-Shaimaa Ibrahim Abdul Aziz, Lecturer at Oral Medicine, Periodontology, Oral Diagnosis and Oral Radiology Department. Title of the lecture: Infection control
The second day was lectured by:
•    Dr. Malaak Youssef Shakhba, Lecturer at Oral Medicine, Periodontology, Oral Diagnosis and Oral Radiology Department. Title of the lecture: Dental Management Medically Compromised Patients
•    Dr. Rania Hassaan Daif, Lecturer at Emergencies Department at Faculty of Medicine; and Dr. Huda Al-Kallaf, Assistant Lecturer at Emergencies Department at Faculty of Medicine. Title of the lecture: C.P.R
The courses were attended by 87 intern dentists.
