Under Patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, a Student Delegation, Headed by Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Participates in the Activities of the Forum: “Civilizations on the Land of Civilizations, Minya, the Bride of Upper Egypt”


   A delegation from Tanta University took part in the activities of the forum, “Civilizations on the Land of Civilizations, Minya, the Bride of Upper Egypt”, which was organized by Minya University from April 5th to 7th, 2026. The event was attended by Prof. Abdul Aziz Qonsowah, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; M.G./ Emad Kedwany, Governor of Minya, Prof. Essam Farahat, President of Minya University, along with a number of presidents of public, private, national, and technological universities, foreign cultural advisors, ministry officials, executive and public leaders in the governorate and the university, and student delegations from 26 countries studying at Egyptian universities. A number of international students at Faculty of Dentistry, registered in the International Program, were among the participants:

   The participation was under patronage of Prof. Mohammed Hussain, President of the University, and in attendance of Prof. Al-Sayed Al-Agouz, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs; Prof. Shahira Sharaf Addin, Executive Director of the Main Center for International Relations and International Students Affairs; Dr. Mohamed Al-Qasir, General Director of the General Administration of Student Welfare, and a number of international students from various nationalities.
   For his part, Prof. Al-Sayyed Al-Agouz emphasized that the participation of Tanta University in the forum aligns with the university vision to support and care for its international students. He noted that the university believes international students are the best ambassadors for Egypt and for Tanta University in their home countries. Therefore, integrating them into such major cultural gatherings helps build bridges of human and civilizational communication among different nationalities. He praised the international students of the university for presenting an honorable image that reflects the quality of care and services provided by Tanta University.
   The participation included the involvement of the international students in cultural, sports, and artistic activities organized by the forum. These activities aimed to promote Egyptian identity, introduce the rich cultural heritage of Minya, known as the “Bride of Upper Egypt”, and integrate international students into the cohesion of the Egyptian culture.
