It is the department concerned with studying the growth and development stages of the face, jaws, and teeth, and it includes all stages of diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of malocclusion cases between the jaws.

The department holds weekly clinical scientific sessions attended by faculty members, supporting staff, resident doctors, and postgraduate students. During these sessions, a detailed presentation of the cases scheduled for treatment in the department is conducted, discussing the most appropriate treatment methods for each case, and unanimously deciding on the optimal treatment plan among the faculty members present, alongside assigning supervision for each case. Additionally, the department periodically holds academic lectures for postgraduate students to enhance their understanding of the fundamentals of orthodontics through detailed, interactive explanations between the faculty members and the postgraduate students.

Services Offered by the Department: 1. Dental extraction. 2. Minor surgeries such as extracting impacted teeth.
3. Major surgeries such as reconstructive surgeries, craniofacial deformity treatment surgeries, accidents and fractures, sebaceous cysts, reconstructive surgeries, infection, oral & maxillofacial abscesses, removal of polyps and malignant tumors.
4. Dental implant: The department has a room for dental implant equipped with three dental units.
